INSURANCE

I am an in-network provider with the following insurance carriers for Individual Psychotherapy services:

• Blue Cross Blue Shield (Not including BlueHome or BlueValue)

• Aetna

• NC State Health Plan

• Cigna

• MedCost

• UnitedHealthcare and UMR

This list is not comprehensive, please inquire if you have another insurance carrier. If we receive your insurance information with sufficient time before your first session, we will check your insurance benefits for you to best inform you of your coverage. As a courtesy, our billing team will file claims on your behalf. We offer this service to save you the hassle of having to submit claims yourself.

SELF-PAY

If you do not have insurance, insurance does not cover the service, or choose not to use your insurance benefits, the following rates apply:

Individual Psychotherapy Session (50 minutes): $125/session

I offer limited sliding scale openings on my calendar for clients in financial need. We can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance if you so choose.

Couples Psychotherapy Session (50 minutes): $150/session

Couples sessions are direct pay only as insurance companies do not consider relationship issues as a billable medical condition, therefore will not cover couples counseling services.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The company I’m contracted with, Counseling Professionals PLLC, requires 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled session will incur a $60 fee charged to the credit card on file, Same Day or No-Shows will incur a full $125. Considerations made for extenuating circumstances. Rescheduled sessions within a week of original time will incur no fee.
